The documentary about the amazing, and long forgotten composer Eugeniusz Morawski (1876-1948) will have it's premiere on CAMERIMAGE 2011, at the Festival Centre, Tuesday 22.15, Documentary Screening Room, Opera Nova, Bydgoszcz.
Morawski's three works were recently recorded by Monika Wolinska conductiing Sinfonia Varsovia. The three symphonic poems are beautiful, emotional pieces composed some 100 years ago, although they sound very modern and very film-like. They are inspiring and the film consists of interviews interwoven with memory-like images composed to excerpts of the music.
