Current Frame

It's been a few months already, since May, that we've shot a documentary in the Bieszczady Mountains, Poland about... let's call him: "a horse whisperer". It's entirely independent and self-founded production by myself and my dear friend Andrzej Ripper, and as such it was waiting a bit for it's editing time. The project follows the path of our meditative shorts of The Silence I & II, however now we went for the storytelling. Hopefully, paralell to it's postproduction, we'll alrady be shooting our next film about another man and his bond with the Holy Mother Nature, as we call her.

The Growth of Middle Ages

There is a fast growing medieval reconstruction movement across all the world. This is called "experimental archeology" and it combines both amazing passion for historical research as well as extreme fight sports. Last year 25 nations met fighting during 2013 edition of "Battle of the Nations" - an annual medieval chamionship.

This year at least two major, international events will take place - BNF in Chroatia, June, and Castillo de Belmonte at the beginning of May.

Except for produciong a shoot of the Battle of the Nations 2012 in Warsaw in cooperation with SPI, which is now on a market as a sport tv series, I was happy to be invited to Aigues-Mortes last year, where the clip above comes from.

The clip promotes both all the movement as such, yet is specially oriented for Polish Medieval Combat Team raising funds to go to the Championships this year.

Other than that I was happy to shoot a part tv series directed by Lisette Marcotte for Quebecan production company Zone 3. The shoot took place in Arundel Castle, England and Wolin, Poland, and this is where the screens come from:

Tatrzańskie wodospady (Tatra Mountains Waterfalls)

This is what we've brought from the succeeding trips to the Tatra Mountains following our first film from there in the project we hope to continue also this year - The Silence.

We'd like to thank very, very much to Filip, Jurand and Sebastian for supporting our little project and to our wives and kids for their love and patience and this wonderful freedom to do the things we love. Thank you!

All we've shot with either Canon 5dMk3 + Magic Lantern or Sony FS700 using Elmo Anamorphic lens mounted on great old photographic Zeisses.
